If you’re considering utilizing a factory intake, injectors, and cable operated throttle body, with a 4L60, 4L65, 4L70, or 4L80 GM transmission, FiTech’s Ultimate LS standalone self-learning ECU with transmission control will get your engine ready for optimal performance. This self-learning dual wideband Ultimate LS ECU is the best solution for a standalone LS swap and replaces the OEM computer and harness. This kit is dedicated to LS or similar engines with crank and cam sensors. The Ultimate LS standalone kit will self-learn to most cam swaps. Usually only very large cam grinds will require additional tuning in the system. Easily tuned for even the most novice tuner, this kit includes a touch-screen controller for easy setup and configuration.

The electronic transmission control is used when operating a GM electronically controlled automatic transmission. The Ultimate LS ECU has the ability to control the shift point, shift firmness, when to downshift properly, and all other features involved when controlling the transmission. This feature is suitable for 4L60, 4L65, 4L80 or 4L85 GM transmissions. If using transmission control connect the two sides of the trans connector to the sub-harness and connect this to the connector on the transmission. Once connected to the transmission you are ready. If not using transmission control leave the connectors untouched.

Application: LS or similar engines with crank and cam sensors. Transmission control feature is suitable for 4L60, 4L65, 4L80 or 4L85 GM transmissions.
Small Block V8 GEN. III/IV LS-based Chevrolet street and performance engines. Contains a 3 BAR MAP sensor for power adder applications that supports up to 30 PSI of boost.
Note: This kit does not work with drive by wire throttle bodies and variable valve timing. These engines can be modified to remove these components.
Not legal for use on pollution controlled vehicles: FiTech’s Ultimate LS System is not approved for use on emission controlled vehicles. This system is designed to control the EFI and ignition on LS based engines being retrofit into older vehicles that do not require emission controls.
