Port injection places a fuel injector at each intake port for more precise fuel delivery to every cylinder. The throttle body is the simpler install. If you're replacing a carburetor on a classic car or hot rod, throttle body EFI is the fastest path. If you want an injector at every cylinder on your SBC, BBC, or Ford 351W, look at the Go Port or Ultra Ram. If you're doing an LS swap, the LS induction systems put the intake manifold, fuel rail, injectors, and ECU in one kit. If you already have a GM TPI intake, the Tune Port Injection standalone ECU replaces the factory computer without changing your existing setup.

No. Every FiTech fuel injection system uses a self-learning ECU that adjusts to your engine automatically. Initial setup is done through a touchscreen handheld controller. Enter a few basic engine specs, start the engine, and the ECU learns from there.

All FiTech fuel injection systems require 58 PSI of fuel pressure. Your stock carbureted fuel pump won't deliver that. FiTech offers Force Fuel systems that work with your existing gas tank and fuel line, in-tank pump modules, inline fuel pumps, and EFI fuel tanks with the pump built in. Some setups require a return line back to the tank while others use a returnless configuration. Or grab a master kit that bundles the EFI system and fuel delivery together.

FiTech recommends running top-tier gas to keep your fuel injectors clean and your fuel system performing well. A fuel injector cleaner or fuel tank additive can help maintain fuel flow over time, but regular fuel injector cleaning is not required for normal operation. If you notice rough idle or uneven fueling, inspect the injectors and fuel filter before adding any additives.
