Do I need to boost reference the fuel pressure regulator?

Yes you do on blow through systems. On roots draw through blowers you do not.

  1. I am installing one of your systems, the instructions are good, but there is no mention of where to hook up the fuel pressure regulator reference line. Can I hook it to the forward 3/16 barb, or should I hook it to the rear next to the 3/8 barb? Would be nice if you change your directions. Thanks

    1. As an update we are now running the regulator port to manifold vacuum. The easiest spot is on the back of the throttle body on the 3/16 barb next to the Idle Air Control Motor.

  2. Just ordered the EFI 8 1200 power adder system, I’m going to be running It with a blow thru.
First do I need a seperate boost referenced fuel pressure regulator?
Second, if I don’t need a seperate regulator where would I hook up the boost reference?

    1. If your pump is over 340LPH you will need a seperate regulator, if you are 340lph or less than you can use the existing regulator hooked to manifold vacuum/boost port on the back of the throttle body.
